The start zone on the Millennium Bridge is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Subsequent access to the starting zone will not be possible.
Runners change in designated tents and hand over their belongings to volunteers for safekeeping. Volunteers pick up and put away things previously marked with a start number. Runners have their belongings waiting at the same place after the race and collect them based on their starting number. In the starting zone, on the Millennium Bridge, in addition to access to the dressing room, competitors can use medical assistance and toilets before the race and additional refreshments after the race.
Each competitor must wear only the starting number under which he/she registered and which he/she received from the organizer; otherwise, he or she will be disqualified. The competition number must be worn on the front in a visible place.
All participants in the 5km, 10km, 21.1km and 42.2km must be in the starting zone by 9:45 am. When taking the starting position, the elite competitors stand directly behind the starting line, and all the others stand behind them.
Runners are obliged to follow the instructions of the announcers and judges at the start. Runners whose behavior disrupts the schedule and order at the start will be removed from the start and disqualified.
All competitors must pass the electronic control points on the track. If, for any reason, the competitor is not registered at these checkpoints, the competitor loses his ranking and score.
There is no time limit for 5km and 10km, while for 21.1km it is 3 hours, and for 42.2km it is 6 hours.
Runners who give up can contact the nearest medical service or the staff at the aid stations, and there they can wait for transport to the starting area or to a health facility (if necessary).
Participants of all races receive finisher medals at the end of the race. After crossing the finish line, refreshments, medical assistance, changing rooms, and toilets are available to all participants.
For possible appeals and objections to the regularity of the competition, the competitors can address the chief judge at the finish line and file a written objection with the payment of a fee of 30 euros.
The announcement of the winner in all races will take place on the stage at the finish line according to a schedule to be determined later.
